Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between BvB Paris and any customer ("you", "the customer") making a purchase on the website www.bvbshops.com ("the Site"). By placing an order, you accept these Terms in full. We recommend reading them carefully before completing your purchase.

Article 2 — Products

The products offered for sale are those listed on the Site at the time of your order. We make every effort to present our products as accurately as possible. However, photographs and descriptions are provided for illustrative purposes and are not contractually binding — minor variations in color or finish may occur depending on your screen settings. BvB Paris reserves the right to modify its product catalog at any time, including adding or discontinuing items.

Article 3 — Prices

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (TTC). BvB Paris reserves the right to change its prices at any time; however, the price applied to your order is always the price displayed and confirmed at the moment your order is validated, regardless of any subsequent price change. Delivery costs, if applicable, are shown separately and clearly before you confirm payment.

Article 4 — Placing an Order

You may place an order directly on the Site by following the steps of the ordering process. Your order is considered final once payment has been confirmed. A confirmation email summarizing your order will be sent to the email address you provided. We recommend keeping this confirmation for your records.

BvB Paris reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of a stock shortage, a pricing error, or reasonable suspicion of fraud. In such cases, you will be notified promptly and fully refunded if payment has already been collected.

Article 5 — Payment

Payment is made online by credit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment providers using 256-bit SSL encryption — the same standard used by major banks. BvB Paris does not store your full payment card details on its own servers at any point.

Your order is processed only once payment has been successfully authorized.

Article 6 — Delivery

Orders are shipped within 24 working hours of confirmation. Estimated delivery times are 5 to 15 business days, depending on your delivery address and the product ordered. A tracking number is provided by email as soon as your order ships.

BvB Paris cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to customs procedures, extreme weather events, or carrier disruptions. In the event of an unreasonable delay, please refer to our Shipping Policy and FAQ for the steps to take.

Article 7 — Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 30 days from the date you receive your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision or pay any penalty (this exceeds the legal minimum of 14 days). Article 8 — Returns and Refunds

Returned products must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, your refund is processed within 5 to 10 business days, using the same payment method used for the original order, in accordance with Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code, which sets a maximum legal refund period of 14 days from the date we are informed of your decision to return the item. Article 9 — Legal Warranty

All products sold by BvB Paris are covered by two warranties that exist independently of, and in addition to, any commercial warranty we may offer:

• The legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code), which applies for 2 years from delivery. Under this warranty, any defect appearing within the first 24 months is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, meaning the burden of proof lies with us, not with you. You are entitled to a free repair or replacement, and if neither is possible within 30 days, to a price reduction or a full refund.
• The legal warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code), which allows you to request either the cancellation of the sale or a price reduction if a hidden defect renders the product unfit for its intended use or significantly reduces that use, and you were not aware of the defect at the time of purchase.

Article 10 — Liability

BvB Paris cannot be held liable for any indirect damages resulting from the use of our products, nor for delays or failures caused by force majeure events, technical issues outside our control, or misuse of the product contrary to its intended purpose. Nothing in this clause limits your statutory consumer rights.

Article 11 — Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, and graphic elements — is the property of BvB Paris or its licensors and is protected under French and international intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation, or use of this content without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

Article 12 — Personal Data

Personal data collected when you place an order is used solely for the purpose of processing your order, managing your customer relationship, and complying with our legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to its processing. Article 13 — Disputes and Mediation

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at bvb@bvbshops.com so that we can find an amicable solution together. If no agreement can be reached, and in accordance with Article L616-1 of the French Consumer Code, you are entitled to refer the dispute, free of charge, to a consumer mediator. Should no amicable solution be found, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction, and these Terms are governed by French law.
